1st Vale of Leven Boys Brigade Company

We have adapted to the new norm. It is unlikely that face to face indoor activities with begin any time soon.

Our strategy is to have a blended approach with online Zoom sessions coupled BBatHome material and the Kahoot platform for checking understanding. In actual fact we will have a Virtual Boys Brigade Company alongside quality outdoor activity events.

Funding from the Community Response, Recovery and Resilience Fund (Foundation Scotland) has gone along to set up the Virtual Boys Brigade Company. Also funding from Cashback (via the Boys Brigade) will help to provide quality outdoor activities for the 2020-21 season. The highlight will be a four day activity holiday on Cumbrae in May 2021.

We completed our first face to face activity event (outdoor) of the new season at the weekend.( The first face to face activity for 6 months.) Some members of the Company/Senior Sections completed a bicycle trip on the National cycle route No7 from Alexandria to Drymen and back (23 miles). Along the route (out and in) of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park we reflected on the wonderful scenery that God created for us to enjoy in our local area.

All boys in our our sections (Anchor Boys [5 to 7], Juniors [8 to 10], Company [11 to 14], Senior [15 to 18]) will participate in this blended approach. We are also looking for new recruits for all sections. We can be contacted via our Facebook page (1st Vale of Leven Boys Brigade Company), Email ( ) and the Bonhill Parish Church Website (under the organisations tap).

We thank our fund providers. Their help will also allow us to offer free membership to our Company for the 20-21 Boys Brigade year.
